DAH at Biennale Puglia 2008

folly presents Digial Artists Handbook at a workshop exploring the opportunities for digitali tools at the 13th Biennale Des Jeunes Créateurs De L'europe Et De La Méditerranée www.bjcem.org.currently taking place in Bari, Italy.

Taylor Nuttall, Chief Executive from folly was invited by www.labforculture.org to participate alongside Alessaandro Ludivico editor of www.neural.it (pictured on left). The workshop was presented to a wide range of practicing artists with varying levels of technical skill from all areas of Europe and the Mediterranean.

Directly after the workshop we were approached by an artist from Lisbon in Portugal who made reference to a comment of where artists and people working and developing technical solutions sit in contemporary society saying that, 'In Portugal we feel like we are at plan B, like Alessandro said, however, listening and thinking about using these tools described today, makes me feel that we as artists can manouvre ourselves and work with others online to create a working space to feel not just plan B.'

Taylor Nuttall made a commitment establish plans to make available multi language access to DAH in the near future ensuring as wide an access as possible from International participants.
