TEA & YELLOWCAKE Workshop

Hosted by artists Zoe Papadopoulou with special guests; Scientists from Nuclear RiRST, Reader in Sociology Nian Wakeford.
Measure your own cake with a geiger counter and design your own micro-climates using nuclear by-products in a unique workshop.

Abandon Normal Devices has hooked up with the North West Film Archive to present a new project, Gleaners. We are offering two filmmakers an opportunity to spend a month each within the archive, exploring the collection and creating a new work.

Open Up is a workshop for the development of projects for the digital façade in Medialab-Prado's building. This call is addressed to the presentation of proposals to be developed during the workshop-seminar taking place in Madrid from February 9 through 23, 2010.
Deadline for proposals:  December 10, 2009
 
Projects presented in this call will have to explore one of the following aspects:

moves is now inviting artists to submit their work for inclusion in the 2010 festival programme.
moves10 expands the open call and welcomes screen-based installations as well as films and papers exploring movement through its context. The works must have been completed from January 2008 onwards.
 

Experimentality: Photography Competition & Exhibition at Peter Scott Gallery
Exhibition will run from 13 January - 6 February 2010 
Deadline for entries: Friday 4th December 2009.
